Privacy

This page explains what this website collects and how GNS uses it.

Service requests

The request form asks for the service, your name, phone number, town or ZIP code and a short description. A preferred time and an email address are optional.

When you send the form, the website sends these details to the GNS office by email. The website does not keep a copy in a database.

The office uses the details to contact you about your request.

The email services that carry the message also process it.

Phone calls

A Call link opens the phone app on your device. The website does not record calls.

Google Analytics

The website uses Google Analytics to count page visits and selections of a Call link.

For each page visit, the website sends Google the page address and title. The address does not include any part after a "?" or "#". If you came from another website, Google receives only its main address, for example https://www.google.com/.

For a Call link, it records only that the link was selected and where it is on the page. This does not show that a call took place.

The website does not send what you type in the request form, your name, phone number or email address.

Google also receives technical information from your browser, such as your IP address, browser, device, screen size and language. Google uses this to report approximate location and device type.

Google signals and advertising personalization are off. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the website does not load Google Analytics.

To stop Google Analytics on all websites, use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

To learn how Google uses this information, read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Cookies

The website uses a session cookie to protect the request form against forged submissions.

Google Analytics sets cookies with names that start with "_ga". They let Google Analytics recognize a return visit from the same browser. They can last up to two years.

The website does not use advertising cookies.

Videos and outside links

The crew video loads from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) only when you select Play. YouTube then receives information from your browser. The YouTube privacy policy applies to the player.

Other video and review links open YouTube or Google Maps in a new tab.

Server logs

The web server can record technical information to run and protect the site. This can include the page address, the time and your IP address.
